About Michael Butensky:

Dr. Butensky is President and Managing Partner of Connecticut Gastroenterology Associates, P.C.

Dr. Butensky's interests include pancreaticobiliary disease. He has had extensive experience with therapeutic pancreaticobiliary endoscopy (ERCP) in managing common bile duct stones and strictures, acute and chronic pancreatitis and sphincter of oddi dysfunction. He has lectured extensively on these subjects and also has published articles in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Butensky's other interests include colon cancer screening and the management of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease).
