It’s simple. Patients must receive an invitation to write a review. Not just anyone can go online and write a review through RealPatientRatings.com.
Reviews on this website come from anonymous surveys completed by real patients who have completed a qualified visit to a provider’s office. We deliver survey invitations to patients within 2 weeks of a consultation or non-surgical treatment and 8-10 weeks following a surgical procedure.
To protect consumers, our community guidelines do not allow participating providers to selectively choose which patients we invite to participate. To protect practices who are transparent about their patient experiences, we do not allow patients to write multiple reviews about the same experience.
While not all patients’ respond to our invitations to provide feedback on their provider, our patents pending process enables us to guarantee that the ratings you see reflect the actual experience of all patients participating. Approximately two-thirds of patients allow their anonymous comments to be posted as a review. We share the unpublished anonymous feedback with our member practices. They use these private patient insights to guide improvements in their communication and care systems to create even better patient experiences.
If you’re a patient of a provider listed in the directory and would like to provide feedback, please look out for our survey invitations post consult, treatment or surgical procedure. If you wish to provide a review now, please email reviews@vizium.com and, subject to verification of your status and an uncompleted survey invitation, we will resend you a link to a survey.
