Dr. Melinda Hansen is a board-certified psychiatrist with 11 years of experience who specializes in the psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adults ages 18 and older. Biography and Education

Furthermore, Dr. Hansen began her medical career in the Army National Guard as a Medic and Emergency Technician Basic volunteering for university sporting events. After completion of her 4-year undergraduate training at The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, she attended St. George’s University School of Medicine where she completed clerkship training at Cornell. She graduated with her Doctor of Medicine (M.D) degree Summa Cum Laude in 2012 and went on to complete her 4-year Psychiatry Residency at the University of Florida. In conclusion, after graduation, Dr. Hansen was certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. With a fascination in integrated medicine, she began her career as a traveling doctor serving as the Behavioral Health Director for several Alaskan Native Villages.
