About Isabella Hartung:
Isabella started her nursing journey as a graduate from Trinity School of Nursing earning her Diploma in Nursing in 2016. Her career began as an emergency department nurse in her hometown in Ohio. As an active duty military spouse, she and her husband moved to Norfolk, Virginia in 2018. Her education continued at the University of Cincinnati, earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing during the same year. During this time, she transitioned to her dream career in Woman’s Health at Depaul Medical Center. There she gained valuable experience working in postpartum, nursery, and the labor and delivery units. She was introduced to midwifery care while working in the birth center, which ignited her passion for promoting physiological birth. Upon the closure of DePaul Medical Center, she continued her career moving to Sentara Leigh Hospital as a LDRP RN. During her time at Sentara, Isabella honed her skills as a labor & delivery nurse and began furthering her education in pursuit of a Nurse-Midwifery degree. In 2023 Isabella graduated from University of Cincinnati and is excited to continue her professional career as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Isabella is a mother to her two children, two corgis, and her cat. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and training her dogs in her free time. Isabella is excited to join the team at WomanCare Centers and looking forward to being a part of your care.
