About Barbara Botz:
Barbara Botz has enjoyed working as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for over 35 years, caring for and educating women about their reproductive health across their lifespan. She has mentored Nurse Practitioner students, serving as a professional role model. As a researcher, she participated in the landmark Women's Health Initiative study, investigating the health risks and benefits of hormone replacement therapy. Barbara likes to travel and has previously volunteered for a medical mission to Kenya screening women for breast and cervical cancers. She also enjoys tennis, yoga, book group discussions and activities in the great outdoors.
