About Vineet Mehan:
Dr. Vineet Mehan is a double board certified plastic surgeon located in Falls Church, Virginia. Dr. Mehan is an expert in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery and he specializes in body contouring and early healing. A published specialist on the mommy makeover, his emphasis is on natural aesthetic results. He has been recognized by several leading plastic surgery journals as well as the local media. A faculty physician with Georgetown University Department of Plastic Surgery and the INOVA Health System, Dr. Mehan is renowned for his outstanding ability to combine the discipline of the surgical science with years of practiced judgment and refined aesthetic perception.
A graduate of The MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Mehan trained in General Surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center, a partner in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Health System. He subsequently spent three years at Brown University in Rhode Island for his Plastic Surgery Fellowship. He has operated alongside the premier names in plastic surgery at several world class facilities, including the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Mehan has done extensive research, including projects on body contouring and craniofacial surgery. His work has been published in many national journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Surgical Rounds. He has presented at numerous regional and national conferences, and is a known international speaker in wound healing and plastic surgery.
