Dr. Victoria Rose Biondi received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1975. She completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center, and has been in private practice since 1978. Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Biondi has also served as Chairperson of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bristol Hospital. She is past President of the New England Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and over the years has been actively involved on many boards, committees of organizations, and businesses in Bristol. Dr. Biondi has a broad range of training, and a special interest in advance laparoscopic surgery, urogynecology, medical aesthetics, as well as menopausal and wellness counseling.
Dr. Biondi is a founding board member of Women’s Health Connecticut, Physicians for Women’s Health, and is an active member of the medical staff at Bristol Hospital. She founded the first all-female obstetrics and gynecology practice in Connecticut, she later moved on to found the Briar Rose Network in January 2007. After nearly 35 years of medical practice, Dr. Biondi has now retired from surgery and deliveries, and is focusing her patient care to office gynecology and consultations.
Recently, she integrated a medically supervised weight loss program Ideal Protein® with great success. In continuing to see patients for routine and emergent needs, Dr. Biondi is pleased to be surrounded by a diverse network of colleagues and knows her patients will be in trusted hands when referrals are needed.
