Dr. Sydney Chang is the founding partner and Medical Director of CCRM Fertility of Austin. She is double board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Chang relocated to Austin to be close to her family after practicing for several years in New York City, where she was named a “New York Super Doctors Rising Star” in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
After completing her Baccalaureate degree in Human Biology with honors and distinction from Stanford University, she received her M.D. with honors from Duke University School of Medicine, where she was selected into a clinical research training program co-sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Chang completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center, where she served as Administrative Chief. She went on to complete her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Mount Sinai School of Medicine/ Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York. Dr. Chang subsequently served as Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell.
Dr. Chang is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and Endocrine Society.
Dr. Chang has presented scientific research at numerous national and international conferences on topics ranging from the effect of advancing paternal age on pregnancy and neonatal outcomes to fertility preservation in breast cancer patients and has received awards for her work, including the 2019 Prize Paper from the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology and a 2021 Outstanding Abstract Award from the Endocrine Society. She has also published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
She values family above all else and is excited to help individuals build the families that they’ve always dreamed of. She is passionate about educating women about the reproductive lifespan, fertility preservation, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), and LGBTQ+ fertility.
Outside of the office, she loves to spend time with her family, volunteer with the Junior League, and stay active with boutique fitness classes.
Dr. Chang is also conversational in Mandarin and has basic Spanish skills.
