With her compassionate and caring bedside manner, board-certified OB/GYN Sarah Krauss, MD, FACOG is known for spending time getting to know her patients and providing quality health care. She treats patients at Premier Women's Care of Southwest Florida in Cape Coral.
Dr. Krauss began her education at the University of Michigan where she double majored in biology and history. She went on to complete her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Krauss then relocated to upstate New York for her OB/GYN residency training at the University of Rochester.
Because Dr. Krauss takes pride in being able to understand the ever-changing conditions and ailments women face, she continues her training to maintain her advanced credentialing. She’s board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, she was acknowledged as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. Dr. Krauss is up to date with the latest advancements such as MonaLisa Touch® for vaginal atrophy, Novasure® Endometrial Ablation for heavy menstrual bleeding, and Gentle Cesarean for a more natural feeling cesarean delivery.
For women who are pregnant or who are trying to become pregnant, Dr. Krauss offers comprehensive infertility, prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. She can even provide effective solutions for family planning if a patient decides her family is complete.
In addition to being a skilled surgeon, Dr. Krauss strives to offer preventive care, so patients can maintain optimal health. She also helps patients manage chronic conditions, such as urinary disorders, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and uterine fibroids. Whether discussing concerns with an adolescent or guiding women through the challenges of menopause, she is passionate about women’s health. Dr. Krauss is currently accepting new patients and welcomes them to the clinic.
