Sally J. Irons, MD

About Sally Irons:

Sally J. Irons, MD, received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 1980, and her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. She earned her master's degree in education of the hearing impaired from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Irons then completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship in 1990 and residency training in 1993 at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Irons is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She began practicing at Middlesex Obstetrical & Gynecological Associates in 1997, and is fluent in American Sign Language.

Dr. Irons' mission is to provide person-centered care, and to connect to patients through each stage of their health care journey. She is proud to represent Women’s Health Connecticut because of the quality of care we provide to women of every generation. On a personal note, Dr. Irons enjoys antiquing, traveling, and hiking, and sharing these activities with her family.
