Care Team
Our team includes board-certified ObGyn physicians, certified nurse midwives, certified nurse practitioners, a registered dietician, and an ObGyn physical therapist. Patient care services include preventive care such as annual exams and health and wellness support; family planning; pregnancy care; and women’s midlife health concerns.
We offer diagnostic and treatment services for women experiencing conditions such as complications of pregnancy, endometriosis, incontinence, infertility, pelvic organ prolapse, and effects of menopause. Regardless of your unique healthcare needs, we’ll help you understand lifestyle, medical and procedural treatment options, up to and including minimally invasive surgeries.
Hospital Affiliation
Oakdale Obstetrics & Gynecology is affiliated with Maple Grove Hospital, where providers deliver babies. Surgical procedures requiring an overnight hospital stay are performed at the same location.
History
Oakdale Obstetrics & Gynecology was founded in 1954, opening in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. The practice adopted its name from its original location: the Oakdale Medical Building, on Oakdale Ave., across the road from North Memorial Medical Center. Coinciding with the opening of Maple Grove Hospital, a new headquarters was established with the opening of a clinic in Maple Grove, Minnesota in 2008. The original Robbinsdale clinic relocated to the Crystal Medical Center, in Crystal, Minnesota, in 2012.
Our long-standing commitment to the communities we serve is growing. Women’s health education programs, and support of initiatives that include Safe Journey and the Maple Grove Farmers Market Power of Produce are among the many ways we advocate for the health of women and their families.
