Marybeth Dixon, MD

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Marybeth Dixon came to the Tidewater Region in 1989 after completing her medical degree for some warmer weather and her OB/GYN residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School. After four years, she got married to her husband Jim and joined Dr. Ted Hughes in private practice. She continues to enjoy practicing with Dr. Hughes and many other providers as their practice grew over the past 25 years. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She enjoys providing care for women of all ages both in the office and hospital. Outside of the office, she has been blessed with two children and a loving husband. She enjoys most outdoor activities including gardening, jogging, swimming and paddle boarding. She is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and an active member in their outreach ministry.
