Lena Carr, DO

Dr. Carr is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys the positive interactions she has with pregnant and non-pregnant patients, and finds fulfillment in counseling patients on diagnosis and treatment options to empower them to make the most informed decision that works for them.

Credentials and Education

Dr. Carr obtained her BS in Biology from San Diego State University and practiced as an EMT before entering medical school at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine to obtain her D.O. She completed her residency at Ascension St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus in 2016. Dr. Carr is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecology in addition to the Michigan Osteopathic Association.

Obstetrics and gynecology, preventative female reproductive medicine, contraception, infertility, abnormal bleeding caused by endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), laparoscopy and minimally invasive gynecological procedures.
