About Laura Cauthen:
As an established board-certified OB/GYN, Laura Cauthen, MD, provides direct and honest care for each of her patients. Dr. Cauthen is currently accepting new patients at Unified Premier Women’s Care in Marietta, Georgia.
After completing her undergraduate degree in biology at Oberlin College in Ohio, Dr. Cauthen earned her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During her third year in residency, Dr. Cauthen received the Excellence in Medical Student Education award.
Dr. Cauthen is currently board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She even maintains professional memberships with the Cobb County Medical Society and the Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology Society.
As a native of Michigan, Dr. Cauthen is known for adding a dash of humor and sarcasm to patient visits. Dr. Cauthen’s affectionate and charming personality allow patients to feel comfortable and relaxed while in her company. She provides preventive, patient-centric care, which helps patients stay involved in their health decision-making process.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cauthen enjoys spending time with her children, and finds being active and staying fit to be a vital part of her life.
