About Jomeka Mowery:

Jomeka Mowery enjoys caring for women of all ages. Her career in women’s health is notable for her extensive training and experience. A Tennessee native, she has been caring for women in eastern North Carolina since 2010. She has a Bachelors in Nursing from University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Masters in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and a Post-Masters in Nurse-midwifery from East Carolina University. She is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.

Jomeka enjoys spending time with her family and friends, crocheting for her Etsy shop, and reading. She is the proud mother of two sons, the youngest who arrived in May of this year. She is excited to be part of the Wayne Women’s Clinic team!
