About John Hansill:

John Hansill, MD, is an OB/GYN at West Coast Women's Specialists in Bradenton, Florida. He provides general obstetric and gynecology care but has specialized in urogynecology. Dr. Hansill goes above and beyond to ensure his patients have a positive experience during their visit.

Dr. Hansill’s medical training started with a nursing degree followed by medical school at Spartan Health Sciences University in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia. He completed his residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Hansill gained over three years of experience in private practice in the state of Oregon before returning to Florida in 2015 to be closer to family. He has been a member of the West Coast Obstetrics & Gynecology team ever since.

An American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board-certified doctor, Dr. Hansill’s interests include female incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and cosmetic gynecology. In 2011, he received his residency’s Top Laparoscopic Surgeons Award. Dr. Hansill is bilingual in English and Spanish.
