Meet Janine Kier, a licensed aesthetician at our Carlsbad Medspa location. She has provided patients with dramatic skin improvement results for over 25 years and loves performing treatments that promote substantial changes, such as the Hydrafacial treatment.
Her love for helping others was what drew Janine to the medical field. She uses this passion daily, assisting people to be confident in their skin. Born and raised in San Francisco, Janine started her career working for dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the Bay Area. She brought her talent to the San Diego community in 1999 and never looked back.
With over two decades of experience in the aesthetics field, she knows just the trick for any concern you may have relating to your skin. From acne scarring to hyperpigmentation and more, she has you covered for all your skincare needs.

Janine became interested in skincare at the age of 12 when her grandmother would preach to her about protecting her skin from the sun and teach her how to make do-it-yourself face masks. She knew she had found the right path in medical aesthetics when Janine saw the dramatic changes she could make in people's skin.
“What is that saying, that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life? That holds true. It's a blessing to come in and do what I absolutely love. And I only hope that it radiates to other people,” says Janine.
