With over 20 years of professional OB/GYN experience, board-certified Dr. David Brown, MD, FACOG provides obstetrics and gynecology care at Premier Women's Care of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers, Florida. There, Dr. Brown uses the most compassionate, patient-centered approach to treat women of all ages and life stages seeking state-of-the-art treatment.
Dr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, and was accepted into medical school. He went on to earn his medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. Dr. Brown completed an internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose and finished his residency at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, California.
He specializes in all areas of women’s OB/GYN healthcare, and stays up-to-date with the latest noninvasive advancements — such as NovaSure® endometrial ablation for heavy menstrual bleeding, daVinci® robotics to minimally invasive surgeries, and MonaLisa Touch® for vaginal atrophy.
Dr. Brown provides the quality OB/GYN care every patient deserves, and really listens to patients’ needs. He helps patients suffering from infertility, uterine polyps, endometriosis, and much more. Dr. Brown offers gentle cesarean sections, so families can be more involved in the birthing process.
To stay up-to-date with the latest advances in medicine, he maintains his advanced credentialing. Dr. Brown is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of Lee County Medical Society and the Florida Medical Association. He is currently accepting new patients and welcomes them to the practice.
