About Cathleen Mills:
Cathleen Mills, MD, has been an OB/GYN in Leesburg and Sterling at Capital Women’s Care since 2007. She graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Mills then joined the U.S. Navy and received her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Since 1998, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of OB/GYN at USUHS.
Dedicated to women’s health, she has been practicing the art of OB/GYN since 1996. Dr. Mills’ distinguished awards include the American Society of Clinical Pathologist’s Award for Academic Excellence and Achievement and the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation for Scholastic Achievement.
Dr. Mills’ specific research interests include hyperemesis gravidarum (a pregnancy complication) and the physiology of pregnancy. As a Leesburg and Sterling women’s health physician, she delights in caring for women throughout their pregnancies and through the many different phases of their life.
