Dr. Alberico Sessa completed medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. After his internship and residency, he did a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Salt Lake City, UT.

After fellowship, Dr. Sessa started a private practice in Sarasota, Florida. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been a Board examiner for the Board of Cosmetic Surgery for the last 5 years. Dr. Sessa has been a fellow director with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery for the last 5 years and is responsible for training two fellows per year. He continues to publish peer reviewed scientific papers each year and frequently lectures at national meetings.

Dr. Sessa has been recognized and received many awards over the years, including the Patient’s Choice award, Top Cosmetic Surgeon in Florida, Top Cosmetic Surgeon in the greater Sarasota area the last 4 years. Dr. Sessa takes meticulous care of his patients, who refer to him as a master artist. He has earned hundreds of 5-star reviews for patient satisfaction and exceptional results.

Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his three sons and wife Lisa, as well as his two dogs Soleil and Blu Jean, his beloved frenchy. His Hobbies include mountain Biking, Paddleboarding and skiing. He is an Avid Tennis Player, amateur golfer and YOGI who loves to travel and cook.
